A Man's Vow
I promise myself to be so strong that nothing can disturb my peace of mind. To talk health, happiness and prosperity to every person I meet. To make all my friends feel that there is something in them. To look at the sunny side of everything and make my optimism come true. To think only of the best, to work only for the best and expect only the best. To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as I am about my own. To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future. To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature I meet a smile. To give so much time to the improvements of myself that I have no time to criticize others. To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear and too happy to permit the presence of trouble. So help me God.

Are You Where You're Supposed To Be?
Fellas,
Today we had the privilege of listening to Tony Bryant. Tony is one of the key leaders at West Angeles. He has spoken in my life for years and I believe that what he said today was an eye-opener to you.
For those of you who missed the phone call, talk with one of your Alliance Partners, and began to apply this information in your personal life.
The basis of Tony's lesson was the question he asked in the beginning of the call. He asked the question: "Is there a formula for being in the Will of God?" The answer is "Yes. Be where you are supposed to be."
The lesson was based on the story of King David and Bathsheba found in the book of II Samuel chapter 11 verses 1-5. It starts by saying, "It happened in the spring of the year, at the time when kings go out to battle, that David sent Joab and his servants with him, and all Israel; and they destroyed the people of Ammon and besieged Rabbah. But David remained at Jerusalem."
David was supposed to be at war; instead he sent his General and his General's servants to do what David should have been doing. As you read the story, you will see that David was in the wrong place at the wrong time, with the wrong people, and he got into trouble. Where are you not supposed to be in your life? Is it your thinking, your habits, you lack of motivation? Wherever you are, you should ask the question, is this where God wants me to be.
Roman philosopher and writer, Pittacus, wrote: The measure of a man is what he does with power." Do you realize the power you have as a man? David rose to power and then began to abuse it. We abuse our power by not being responsible men. A man can be as great as he wants to be, but he has to have the courage to do so.
Demonstrate your courage today by leading men, changing lives, bringing strength, and impacting people...Alliance Strong!
