Fellas,
I know that there is a lot of daily readings you are expected to read, and you may feel overwhelmed with all that is going on in your personal life, but I assure you that it's not the reading that gets you down, but the fact that you have not made the time to do it.
I too struggle with my reading. Not getting it done, but making the time to do it. When I make the time to do it. It goes great. When I don't make the time to do it and then try and squeeze some time in a busy day to do it, I feel like I am being forced to read something I don't want to do.
When we take up our cross (fighting the temptation to not read etc.) and follow God daily (reading your red note-books) we gain a strength and momentum that propels us to higher levels.
With that being said, I have attached the notes I prepared for today's lesson. It's all about goal setting and the obstacles we face. Now that you have the tools you need to reach your goals for the next 30 days, what are you going to build?

II Peter 1: 3-10
3. Jesus has the power of God, by which He has given us everything we need to live and to serve God. We have these things because we know him. Jesus called us by His Glory and goodness. 4. Through these He gave us the very great and precious promises. With these gifts you can share in being like God, and the world will not ruin you with its evil desires. 5. Because you have these blessings, do your best to add these things to your lives: to your faith, add goodness; and to your goodness, add knowledge; 6. And to your knowledge, add self-control; and to your self-control, add patience; and to your patience, add service for God; 7. And to your service for God, add kindness for your brothers and sisters in Christ; and to this kindness, add love. 8. If all these things are in you and are growing, they will help you to be useful and productive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9. But anyone who does not have these things cannot see clearly. He is blind and has forgotten that he was made clean from his past sins. 10. My brothers and sisters, try hard to be certain that you really are called and chosen by God. If you do all these things, you will never fall.
Accountability Reference
Have you spent daily time in the Word and prayer?
Have you had any flirtatious or lustful attitudes, tempting thoughts, or exposed yourself to any explicit materials which would not glorify God?
Have you spent quality relationship time with family and friends?
Have you done your 100% best in your job, school, etc?
Have you told any half truths or out-right lies putting yourself in a better light to those around you?
Have you encouraged someone or shared the Word with a non-believer this week?
Have you taken care of your body through daily physical exercise and proper eating / sleeping habits?
Have you been completed above reproach in your financial dealings?
Have you allowed any person or circumstance to rob you of your joy?
Daily Commitment
I will be strong and courageous. I will not be terrified; I will not be discouraged, for the Lord my God is with me wherever I go. (Joshua 1:9)
