A Man's Vow

I promise myself to be so strong that nothing can disturb my peace of mind. To talk health, happiness and prosperity to every person I meet. To make all my friends feel that there is something in them. To look at the sunny side of everything and make my optimism come true. To think only of the best, to work only for the best and expect only the best. To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as I am about my own. To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future. To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature I meet a smile. To give so much time to the improvements of myself that I have no time to criticize others. To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear and too happy to permit the presence of trouble. So help me God.

Notes from 05.17.2007/Joynier L. Teaching

Joynier was the speaker for today and spoke about self discipline. Developing priorities is the key to a good disciplined life. Plan things accordingly, strategize the plan, and then execute the plan. Sounds like something you are reading in your daily Toolbox readings.

Remember that we no longer have "red notebooks" but a Toolbox. The words in your folders will develop you into the person you want to be, just as the tools you use to build a house will complete that house if used properly.

Good word today Joynier. I am proud of you guys for doing your best with the 21 days. While many of you have not completed everyday, I see you doing your best. Stay focused as you pointed out in the message, and make this a priority to complete the remaining days. The finish line is near.

Remember to always lead men, change lives, bring strength, and impact people…Alliance Strong.
