A Man's Vow
I promise myself to be so strong that nothing can disturb my peace of mind. To talk health, happiness and prosperity to every person I meet. To make all my friends feel that there is something in them. To look at the sunny side of everything and make my optimism come true. To think only of the best, to work only for the best and expect only the best. To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as I am about my own. To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future. To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature I meet a smile. To give so much time to the improvements of myself that I have no time to criticize others. To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear and too happy to permit the presence of trouble. So help me God.

J. Nation's Teaching
Here's an overview of what Jamie spoke about on 05/31/2007.
Jamie Nations spoke to the rookies today about conflict and fear. What we learned is that in the 2nd grade he got his ass kicked. :) J/K
A great thing happened during this fight. He learned how to confront his fears. While he wanted to run, his mom told him to "Get back out and fight!" Shouldn't this be the phylosophy for all of us with every struggle that we have. Fighting is good. It draws out the best in you.
Many men live docile and boring lives. They are not willing to fight, but are willing to complain. When looking at the lives of Jesus, Martin Luther King, and Mahat Ghandi (Jamie's top 3 men), we typically think that these men were very docile. We read about their non violence acts, but don't see the revolutions they started. Like these three men, we should be willing to choose a direction in our life, and go for it. "It's better to die on yuour feet than to live on your knees."
Good job Jamie. You blessed us today.
