Fellas,
My brother's wife sent this to me and I thought it would go well with what we do daily to connect with God. Without God, our week would be: Mournday, Tearsday, Wasteday, Thirstday, Fightday, Shatterday, and Sinday. Aren't you glad we connect daily to avoid these negative days?.....
So we take a break in reading about the plight of the Nation of Israel and the wicked Kings that are holding them in bondage. The Jewish Nation has been spread across the globe......
As you read the book of Esther, don't think about women's rights, but rather, think about the rightousness of God to use whoever is available to complete His Plans and Purposes. What situations in your life have you been hiding from that you know God has called you to do something different about it? When you could have said a kind word to someone, but because you were frustrated with the situation, you chose to not speak a kind word, and instead your actions caused you and the other person involved to miss out on God's Blessing for you life. Where have you been hiding and allowing others to do the work? You are aware that just because you are "hiding" does not mean "escape." God has you where you are for a purpose. Like Esther, we should all say, "If I perish, then I perish." Are you ready to die for the cause of God? Only when we die can we be ressurected. Today during your prayer time, ask God where He would like for you to die to "self."

A Man's Vow
I promise myself to be so strong that nothing can disturb my peace of mind. To talk health, happiness and prosperity to every person I meet. To make all my friends feel that there is something in them. To look at the sunny side of everything and make my optimism come true. To think only of the best, to work only for the best and expect only the best. To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as I am about my own. To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future. To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature I meet a smile. To give so much time to the improvements of myself that I have no time to criticize others. To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear and too happy to permit the presence of trouble. So help me God.
